In a heart to heart with Adam, the style queen said: “I am just insecure. I think Rosie has come in, she’s really attractive, I know you two are going to get on.”
But why is Kendall feeling so uncertain? Relationship expert James Preece speaks exclusively to OK! Online about Kendall’s emotion following long-term relationship and new romance on the show.
Why is Kendall feeling insecure?
James said: “Insecurities are a natural part of any new relationship.”
Insecurities often arise after a break up and at the start of a romance when a couple are getting to know one another.
He added: “You don’t know each other well enough to be completely comfortable and neither of you knows if you have a future yet.”
How to cope with insecurities
Kendall’s insecurity does not only impact on herself, but the people around her.
The best way to overcome your own, and another person’s insecurities, is to understand their history and circumstances that make them feel uneasy and be more sensitive about the situation.
James said: “Adam needs to accept the fact that Kendall had a really difficult breakup. It was an usual situation and he didn’t handle it very well. Announcing that he fancies someone else is never going to go down well. She might have been a little over the top but you can’t blame her for that.
“Relationships are all about trust and making each other feel good.”
Kendall and Adam’s future
Relationship expert, James Preece warns he doesn’t think Adam is “the one” for Niall Aslam‘s former partner.
He predicts: “I’m not sure Adam is right for Kendall as he’ll move on if he finds an easier target.”
He continued: “She needs someone patient who allows her time to come out of her shell. Eyal or Alex perhaps?”
Love Island continues on ITV2 at 9pm.
