The feisty contestant has been coupled up with the journalist for the past few weeks, with their initial spark developing into a sweet connection.
The show’s bosses, eager to test the depth of emotions between all of the Mallorca housemates, brought in 12 nom shells on Thursday, with the existing males meeting six ladies in Casa Amor while the original girls hosted the new hunks in the main compound.
Georgia has stayed staunchly loyal to Josh yet, unbeknown to her, he’s shared cosy dates and a kiss with Londoner Kazimir Crossley, before sucking her toes in the latest challenge.
Learning of the challenge she’s expected to perform, and that which Josh may have taken on, leads her to make a huge confession.
She said: “I’ve always played these games with Josh. I’ve always wanted to tease him if a new boy comes in, I want to tease him, make him jealous, keep him on his toes.
“Whereas now I don’t really want to play those games anymore. I’ve never said that before, that’s for sure.”
Ever the lovely Islander, Dani makes a huge promise as she reassures her and says: “George, you know you and Josh will pull through it all. You and Josh have been the same since you got here.
“You’re having a laugh with each other. You both clearly do have deep, deep feelings for each other now.
“You don’t want a stronger connection with anyone else and I doubt Josh has got that either. I promise you George, I promise you. Josh is not going to give up on you because of that.”
Yet it seems the stunning barmaid is set for some serious heartache when she’s finally reunited with the SPORTBible writer.
After enjoying his saucy challenge with Kaz, Josh admits there’s serious sparks.
He said: “This is trouble. I feel like this has surprised me. “I didn’t think I’d be open to it and after about two hours, I was like ‘wow, I’m far more open to this than I thought I’d be.
“Obviously there’s an attraction from my side.”
Love Island airs every weeknight at 9pm on ITV2.
