Kate Middleton’s sister, 34, and her millionaire husband, 42, are said to be overjoyed by the pregnancy news.
From family reactions to due date, here’s everything you need to know after Pippa finally addressed the speculation in her Waitrose magazine column.
Writing in her Waitress magazine column, Pippa opened up on the first three months of her pregnancy, saying: “I was lucky to pass the 12 week scan without suffering from morning sickness.
“That meant I was able to carry on as normal. This being my first pregnancy, I had so many questions I felt were still unanswered.”
Fitness fanatic Pippa made some changes to her workout regime after discovering her pregnancy.
She wrote in her column for Waitrose: “When I learned the happy news that I was pregnant I realised I needed to adjust my 4 to 5-day-a-week routine. I wanted to know things like – would I strain if I served in tennis? Are all strokes of swimming safe?
“Can I still do a normal yoga class if I avoided certain positions? Could I still work my abs? It’s particularly hard in the early months when you don’t really want to share the news with everyone, not even your class instructor.”
Pippa added: “I’ve noticed my body change and weight increase – but through effective exercise and sports I feel that it’s being strengthened to support a healthy pregnancy, birth and recovery.”
The Duchess of Cambridge’s sister added that she’s stopped running because she wants to give herself and her body a rest from “pavement pounding”.
In May, party planner Pippa revealed a glimpse of her baby bump while at the French Open in Paris alongside husband James Matthews.
Pippa, who is thought to be due in October 2018, looked gorgeous in a £495 frock.
Pippa Middleton pregnancy speculation
The Sun on Sunday reported in April that Pippa is pregnant with her first child.
However, neither Pippa or her husband James confirmed the news straight away.
When is Pippa Middleton’s due date?
According to reports, Pippa is expecting her first child in October.
After welcoming her third child, Prince Louis on April 23, Kate is said to be ecstatic.
A friend of Pippa and James reportedly told the publication: “When Pippa found out she was pregnant, she was obviously thrilled and utterly overjoyed.
“Naturally, big sister Kate and parents, Carole and Michael, were the first people she told — James aside — and they could not have been more delighted.”
