Sainsbury’s have hit the headlines as they launch a new gin and tonic ice lolly.
But that is not all as the supermarket brand have also created another boozy flavoured frozen treat for adult customers to enjoy.
The ice lollies also come in raspberry bellini flavour.
The alcohol infused lollies contain 4.5 per cent ABC, which means they are only to be consumed by customers over 18 years old.
However, there are also alternative ice lollies for those who would prefer a less alcoholic sweet treat to indulge in.
Sainsbury’s have also created blackcurrant, carrot and beetroot lollies as well as coconut, pineapple and lime.
The latest drop comes at the perfect time as Britain is set to be hit with a major heatwave that will see temperatures soar to 30 degrees.
The ice lollies come in packs of four and retail for £2.50 per pack.
A spokesperson for Sainsbury’s, Joanne Brind, said: “We know that cocktails continue to be a huge trend for our customers and we’ve developed these brand new ice pops so they can enjoy classic botanical and fruity flavours while keeping cool this summer.
“With four in a pack, they’re a fab frozen treat to share with friends – not to mention an easy way to be the popular one at any party!”
Sainsbury’s Gin and Tonic ice pops are available to buy in stores now.
